Our Services

We are here to help all people. To eliminate barriers, In-Home Counseling provide services in the comfort and privacy of the individual's residenceOften, it is hard to handle the changes that come with growing up, managing our lives, and growing older. School or work stress, illness, daily life pressures, losses, difficult relationships, the stress of caring for a loved one, and other issues can cause depression, anxiety, and emotional difficulties. Untreated, such depression and anxiety can lead to isolation, panic, lack of interest in caring for self, and increased physical deterioration. Many adults with families, those with chronic illness or disability, and seniors are unable to access mental health treatment due to physical limitations, lack of transportation, or caregiving issues. Often, they may be unwilling to travel to a therapist’s office to receive the treatment they need and deserve. There are those, too, who feel shame, fear or embarrassment over what they are experiencing, and are reluctant to go to a therapist’s office for help.

To eliminate these barriers, In-Home Counseling (IHC) provides services in the comfort and privacy of the individual’s residence. We can provide support and help the individual regain their sense of self and wellbeing. You do not need to be homebound…anyone can access our services.

At the initial session a thorough assessment will be conducted with the client, to determine their physical, emotional, environmental and social needs, their goals, their support systems, and level of functioning. In partnership with the client, we will assist them in resolving areas of distress, developing positive coping skills and stress-relieving techniques, and improving overall functioning.

It is important to remember that depression and anxiety are not just a natural part of living, and can lead to greater difficulties if left untreated. We can help you or your loved one to resolve these issues in a supportive, positive manner in the comfort of their own home.

As Licensed Clinical Social Workers approved with Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, we have experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, stress, trauma, caregiver issues, adjustment to illness/disability, and transitional life changes. We can help provide you or your loved one with the necessary skills, support, and psychotherapy services to improve their quality of life and wellbeing.

Appointments are available days, evenings, and weekends.
